The starting point

The school has run for six years thanks to two volunteers. The balls were worn out, there were not enough shirts, and sessions were shrinking for lack of kit. The club was considering capping enrolment.

What the Foundation funded

Funding for twenty balls, three sets of shirts, training equipment, and coverage of the coaching qualification for both educators.

What it produced

Enrolment rose from eighty to a hundred and twelve children. Both coaches, now qualified, also run a girls' section opened the following year.
