Entrepreneurship

Support for founders and young businesses: funding, introductions, guidance and follow-up over time.

Entrepreneurship

Our approach

We do not fund ideas, we remove blockages. An activity that already works but is capped for want of a machine, an initial stock or premises: that is the kind of file we know how to handle. Funding comes with follow-up, because equipment that is badly used produces nothing.

What we look for in a file

  • An activity already under way, however modest, or a skill already acquired.
  • One precise, costed blockage that the funding removes.
  • A line-by-line budget, with quotes where possible.
  • A clear idea of where the activity goes once the blockage is gone.

Entrepreneurship

  • Starting or growing an activity
  • Buying professional equipment or tools
  • Guidance on structuring and management
