Women carrying their children walk through a village

Social action

Responding to emergencies and supporting families: health, housing, food aid, and backing for grassroots organisations.

Social action

Our approach

This is the area where timing matters most. An emergency procedure allows some files to be reviewed within seventy-two hours. We prioritise replacing what makes life possible — work tools, housing, care — over one-off aid that changes nothing.

What we look for in a file

  • A precisely described and verifiable situation.
  • An identified need: care, housing, equipment, children's schooling.
  • Whatever supporting documents exist: prescription, quote, certificate, official letter.
  • For organisations: a demonstrated ability to support the people being helped.

Social action

  • Covering medical costs
  • Emergency help for a family
  • Support for a local organisation
