The mentor network opens to new volunteers

Accountants, craftspeople, teachers, managers: long-term support rests on volunteers.

Funding alone is not enough. That is what led us to build a network of volunteer mentors to follow project leaders over several years.

The role is concrete and bounded: half a day a month, on one specific area — bookkeeping, stock management, dealing with banks, organising a team. It is not about doing the work instead, but being available when a question comes up.

The profiles sought are varied. Many supported projects need very ordinary skills: keeping an account book, preparing a quote, negotiating with a supplier.

Anyone interested can get in touch from the contact page, stating their field and availability.
