Accounts are impersonating us and demanding “filing fees”. No payment is ever requested.

Several people have reported social media accounts and e-mail addresses presenting themselves as representatives of the Foundation. These accounts promise fast support in exchange for advance payment of “filing fees”, a “deposit” or a commission.
None of this exists. The Foundation never asks for money, at any point, for any reason. Submitting an application is free and happens only through this website.
A few markers to protect yourself. We never contact applicants first to offer support. We do not use private messaging to review files. We never ask for bank details by message.
If you have been approached, pay nothing and report the account. You can also write to us from the contact page: these reports help us get the accounts taken down.

Applications can be submitted until 30 November. The criteria are unchanged and the process is entirely online.
